This is so helpful and well-articulated, Serena. I think I could find myself in many of these emotions and responses when our youngest son went through four surgeries in seven months for a brain tumor that turned out to be non-cancerous but left him permanently scarred and facing new medical diagnoses that he had not had before.
Oh wow, Elizabeth - four surgeries in seven months for a brain tumor! And permanent scarring. Sounds so hard. Thanks for sharing a bit of your story. And yes, all these emotions would make sense that too! Glad to walk with you in these challenging journeys!
This is so helpful. Yes to the grief, the anger, the helplessness and jealousy.
So glad you get it too! :)
Every single one of these feelings! And alas, i always restart my day with hope, faith and prayer. 🙏
So glad we are in this together, Leslie!
Me too! No coincidences! 🙏
