Hey Serena. I'm happy to have stumbled across your Substack! I've got three young ones (7 mo, 7, 9) and I wanted to write on Substack as a sort of way to reflect and share the parenting lessons I've learned so far. A lot of these lessons I've learned through prayer, as faith in God is the biggest reason why I am still standing after all the trials the Lord has allowed in my life so far! I just want to be a better dad, and seeing that I'm around the corner from raising teenagers, reading some of your posts will be insightful in the future!
Thanks so much, Brian! So great to meet you. I love your reasons for wanting to write on Substack! A place to process and share and help others. Can't wait to read some of what God has taught you. I am with you in terms of reflecting on what God has taught me, too! I named my Substack "Evidence of Grace" as a way to remember the gifts of God on a hard journey.
And wow, you have a BABY alongside your elementary school kids- that's so fun (at least it sounds fun to me, I don't know what it's like in real life). I am a huge fan of kids and especially babies!
